Our Story

The Den Collective was founded in 2025 with a clear vision: to create a supportive ecosystem where student athletes could thrive both on and off the court. As the landscape of college athletics transformed with NIL opportunities, we recognized that student-athletes at the Division II level were being overlooked.

Our founders, a dedicated group of alumni, business leaders, and sports management professionals, came together with a shared commitment to empowering these athletes while maintaining the integrity of collegiate sports.

As the only NCAA Division II basketball collective in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), we've pioneered a model that serves the unique needs of our athletes while creating meaningful connections with businesses and the community.
